January is around the corner and in Corporate Excellence we want to take advantage of the fact that we are all making our resolutions for the upcoming year to suggest some interesting readings that will help us learn and grow. And isn’t it all about growing older and wiser?
The documents suggested are drawn from our Knowledge Centre and other interesting blogs and websites, such as Questions Publicitarias, from Universidad de Sevilla, which offers different book reviews, and C4E books, that compiles texts about communication, advertisement, creativity and marketing.
The first book we want to recommend is The Alignment Factor by Cees B. M. Van Riel, professor of Corporate Communication at the Rotterdam School of Management and managing director at Reputation Institute. The subject addressed in the book is a highly topical one: leadership and alignment. Cees B. M. van Riel describes why alignment is so important to become a successful leader, he also explains the importance of stakeholders for companies, because they are who give them the necessary licenses to operate in different markets and help them minimize possible problems in those markets.
