We have been looking forward to sharing with you this good news: one of the projects of Corporate Excellence has been nominated for Digital Communication Awards 2013! Digital Communication Awards is the most important prize in the area of communication on the European level. A committee of experts representing the academic and professional communities every year cast their votes for the most successful projects in this field.
The nomination was awarded to the Analysis of Online Comments (Balance de Expresiones Online (BEO)). The analysis is based on a model developed jointly by Corporate Excellence and Llorente & Cuenca in order to analyze the impact of the Internet on corporate reputation. As you may remember, we presented the results and conclusions of the study in June within the frames of the International Conference on Corporate Reputation held in Barcelona. Shortly before that, the study had also been presented in Madrid, during the Innovation in Communication event held jointly with the UCM every year. We were surprised to find out that we are in the short list, and we are still beside ourselves with joy.
The candidate Analysis of Online Comments will be defended in the presence of the jury on September 20, 2013 in the Campus of the Quadriga University of Berlin. On the same day, the winners of Digital Communication Awards in 38 categories will be announced. BEO is nominated in the category “Digital Monitoring and Evaluation”. The study analyzes public comments made by different stakeholders about a company on the Internet in order to facilitate strategic decision-making on the company’s positioning in the Internet.
Next week Corporate Excellence and Llorente & Cuenca will go to Berlin to defend this project. We are also in touch with Nacho Villoch (@Capitancook) from BBVA’s Innovation Centre who participated in this contest twice.
We are preparing for the exam!
